COOPERSTOWN


Located on Mill Street, the Andrew P. Miles home has been kept in excellent shape by the present owners.
A.P. Miles was born in Venango County on March 4, 1845, the son of Thomas and Catherine Proper Miles.
His great-grandfather, Thomas Miles was a soldier of the Revolution and his grandfather, Louis Miles, was a solder in the War of 1812.
A.P. was educated at public schools and at Edinboro. In 1869 he married Lizzie Davison and they had three children; Ord, Nellie and Elda.
Mr. Miles was a farmer, oil producer, lumberman and owned the A.P. Miles flour and cider mill.
