Pleasantville, Venango County Pennsylvania


      Pleasantville High School published a yearbook in 1950
      that paid tribute to those who graduated in the 57 classes that came before.
      It is called "The Spirit of '76" because 1950 was the 76th graduating class since the establishment of the school in 1873.
      Group photos dating to 1894 and the whereabouts of many alumni were included.
      The school was renamed in memory of Robert W. Clark, Jr., shortly after he died at Pearl Harbor.
      The last class graduated in 1969. The school currently houses grades 1 to 5.
      Mildred Beebe, a 1910 graduate, wrote the following Alumni Association overview in 1950 for the yearbook.
