EMLENTON

414 Hill Street

This Folk Victorian home was built in 1897 for Jacob Gosser who had established a pharmacy in Emlenton in 1867. Mr. Gosser took a great interest in the oil and natural gas developments of that time. In 1870 he married Priscilla McKinney Chambers, granddaughter of the founder of Chambersburg, PA.
