Grace Ross Pierce, b. 2 September 1870 Mercer Co., PA, d. 4 Feb 1919 Venango Co., PA.
She married William Solomon Pierce 29 Dec 1888 in Franklin, PA,
They lived there (on Eagle Street) at the time of her death.

His father was Thomas Kellar Pierce of Crawford Co., PA,
son of William K. Pierce who lived in Crawford Co., PA from about 1835 until his death there 29 Jan 1891.

the first child of William Solomon and Grace Ross Pierce, b. 14 May 1889, Franklin, PA, d. 12 June 1969, Hershey, PA.
He married C. Marie Fahringer abt. 1918 (after his return from World War I).
Their two sons were Charles Albert Pierce, Jr., of Danville, PA, and Frank Fahringer Pierce, MD, of Hershey, PA.

photo left:Rebecca E. Pierce, b. 7 February 1892, Franklin, PA. On 10 January 1917
She married Lewis Overturf in Franklin, PA.
They made their home first in Franklin and later in Lafayette, IN, where their two daughters were born.
Rebecca died before July 1955, Lafayette, IN. Photo at a DAR meeting, 22 February 1955.

He was born 9 March 1899 in Franklin, PA.
He moved south to work in the oil industry in Oklahoma and Texas after the death of his mother in 1919.
He married Thelma Davis on 31 May 1926 in Breckenridge, TX.
They had two children, John K. Pierce, Jr., and Linda Pierce (Moore).
He died 20 December 1970 in Baytown, TX.
This photo was made about 1917 at the Pierce home which was then located at 1409 Eagle Street, Franklin, PA.
