200 ATTEND REUNION
OF WILLIAMS FAMILY

The descendants of Levi and Mary Williams held their annual reunion at"The Old Mill Grove" Sutton's Mills, Wednesday, August 5, with about 200present.

After a sumptuous dinner in the cool, pleasant, grove, the followingprogram was carried out, Rev. Porter Williamspresiding-- Minutes of last meeting were read--Ida Williams, secretary.

Sophronia Williams Dugan gave a very interesting history of theWilliams family dating back to the emigration from Wales of the firstmembers of the family to Lancaster county, later to Venango county. Several members of the family fought in the Revolutionary War, others inthe War of 1812, and still others in the World War.

Members of the family are eligible to become members of the D.A.R.

Mrs. Dugan felt that her history was not satisfactorily finished andwished the help of the other members of the family to complete thehistory for next year; so the following were appointed: MyrtleWilliams, Mrs. Johnson, Mary Williams, Mr. Casey, Plumer Campbell, MaryWarner, and Ida Yoho, each of these representing a separate branch ofthe family.

Mrytle Williams gave a splendid history of the Eli Williams family, andPlumer Campbell reported on the family of Katherine Williams. Rev.Johnson gave a short talk and Sara Williams, from Porto Rico, told manyinteresting things about that island.

The original family consisted of nine members, John, Samuel, David,Simeon, Eli, Thomas, Tamar, Katherine, and Mary Ann.

Plumer Williams Jr., Myrtle Williams, Mr.and Mrs. Arthur Krear, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Storer, James and BillieStorer.

Those present from Katherine's family were: Cornelia Chrisle Campbell,Frank M. Kuhn, Mrs. Effie Dunn, S. Plumer Campbell, Milton P. Bradley.

The members of Mary Ann's family were: Plumer Jack, Mrs. Plumer Jack,Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ferguson, Helen Ruth Ferguson, Mrs. Henry Stoops, EarlStoops, Mrs. W. P. Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Taylor, Maxine Ritenour,Frances Jack, Aldo Jack, Mrs. Aldo Jack, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jack, RoyJack, Rev. and Mrs. S. L. Johnston, Paul Johnston, Williams Johnston,Marlan Johnston, Ross Jack, Ross Jack Jr., Andrew Jack, Mrs. MaryBlack, Mrs. Nellie Myers, Betty Myers, and Frank Jack..

Those present from the Thomas Williams family were: Mrs. Effie Casey,John Casey, Clyde Casey, Mrs. Della Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ball,Eugene Boll, Blanche Boll, Richard Boll.

Friends of the family who were present were: Mary Abbott Lawrence, EdLawrence, Betty Lawrence, and Zadie Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. W. R.Coulter, F. H. Heberling, Mrs. John Farren, Mrs. Ralph McKinley, Mr. andMrs. J. E. Lorello and sons, Albert and Eugene, Mrs. W. J. Moore, Mrs.T. J. Griffin, Ina McGinnis, Mrs. Robert Moore, Mr. and Mrs H. The next reunion will be held the first Wednesday in August, 1932.

The officers elected for the coming year are: Oren T. Williams,president; H. B. Storer, vice president; Ida Williams, secretary, and C.M. Williams, treasurer.
