This beautiful Queen Anne Style home was built in 1872 for W. C. & E. Harriet Siggins Howe. Mr. Howe was a coal dealer and oil producer. It was rebuilt in 1904 by Harry & Virginia Hughes Lamberton. Harry Lamberton was President of the Lamberton National Bank. The round tower, fish scale shingles and stick-work siding make this a most impressive home. The home remained in the Lamberton family until the death of Mrs. Lamberton in 1952. Mrs. Dorothy J. Love purchased the home prior to 1960.
