VENANGO COUNTY CEMETERIES 2005
Listed by township -- see map under Twsps! for township location

Jim Moltz and Don Heeter have spent numerous hours in the past few years locating cemeteries in Venango County, rewriting directions and marking the coordinates. A goal that the men have is to visit each cemetery to pay tribute to the veterans buried there, making sure that each veteran has been honored with a marker and flag. Many thanks to Mr. Moltz and Mr. Heeter for providing the information for the list below. This is an ongoing project, therefore there are some cemeteries they have not yet visited and the directions below are from other sources.
The Venango County Historical Society is continuing work on transcribing the tombstones in the cemeteries of each township. Please call or write the Society for information on what is currently available. P.O. Box 101, Franklin, PA 16323 or call 814 - 437 - 2275.
